About Pench Tiger Reserve
The setting for Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, the total protected area of Pench Tiger Reserve covers approx 1900 sq. kms over 3 districts of Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh. Declared as a Tiger Reserve in 1992, the park offers stunning landscapes of semi-deciduous forests spread over a diverse terrain.
Pench is home to a fast growing and breeding population of big cats as well as approx 40 mammal, 13 reptile, 3 amphibian and 200+ bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.
The park also hosts several eco experiences beyond jungle safaris, conducted by either park authorities or private service providers. We will be happy to include some curated experiences in your travel itinerary.
